ABRASIONS, a photography and printing project by Irina González, has been awarded the Bronze FAD Award for Best Final Bachelor Project 2024
Developed as a Final Bachelor Project in Design at EINA–UAB, the work explores personal insecurities through the compilation of 50 texts and 48 photographs brought together in a magazine format. ABRASIONS seeks to make insecurities visible, to normalize and dignify them, while exposing the trauma produced by a society shaped by constant criticism and unrealistic expectations.
The project offers a sensitive and honest reflection on contemporary emotional wounds, using photography and editorial practice as tools for inquiry and resistance.
